This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Weathering On Boulders, Burial Cairns

It has an excellent section, linked below, on the weathering of burial cairns and boulders, and also a discussion of what we would call, "depression piles."
