An outcrop with a wedged split




Then I walked over hill and dale, to find only a very faint hint of a site where an outcrop faced north into a wetland. A little pattern with a "manitou" shaped rock-on-rock.

This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
