This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
I count 10 piles in this picture. Although I bet Larry can easily get more piles in a single non-panorama shot, this single photo sets the record for this year's competition.
