Two of the photos are of the turtle effigy at Killingworth, CT (one of the images is mine). Where are the others?
Interesting. Wouldn't have thought to look for faces if you hadn't suggested it.
I lifted the first photo from NEARA
http://www.neara.org/Boudillion/pots.htm taken in Dog Town on Cape Ann, MA in February of 2002.
The second is from the previous post to this one, located in Berne, NY.
