I'll hold off on making a permanent link. It seems, as with the Hamonasset Line, to be generalizing from about 1% of the evidence.

Some interesting ideas posted on the link, but way too much of it is speculation and not hard evidence.
I'm trying to recall where I read that the influence of agricultural/horticultural practices of the People of the Northeast made those big complexes of the mid-west possible...
