This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Was looking at this picture and thought: "Aah they used all those convenient cobbles scattered around to build the rock pile". Then I thought "wait, why are there so many same-sized cobbles there?" The answer becomes clearer if you look at the scatter. Yup, those used to be walls. Someone seems to have re-purposed the blocks from a previous structure.
