From the Soc. for Georgia Archaeology [click here]. Some pretty serious denial going on here: note the well built pile made with broken rocks of the same general size are supposedly "dumped" because the people looking at the site could not see a pattern.

Read it carefully to understand how stone features are easily dismissed in Georgia. It is typical of the verbiage that is presented as a "conclusion" by those that hold themselves out as "professionals." They offer no more proof for the negative argument, as is available for the positive argument. I will say once again, stone features should be considered prehistoric unless proven otherwise.
