Great photos from Arabia

here (click on the '>').  If those things were in New England they would be called "stone walls". Leading to the question: how many things like the Arabian "kites" are in fact hiding in plain sight - looking very much "colonial farmer..."?

There are dozens and dozens of "kites" and hundreds if not thousands of "key holes" visible in Saudi Arabia on Google Earth. They era also on Jordan and Syria, similar structures in Africa. dave.

I think you got me hooked on exploring satellite photos. I found some genuinely weird stuff one time and zoomed out to see where it was, zoomed back in and lost it - due to round-off error in the viewing program. All the "lost civilization" you could possibly want is out there, waiting to be found.

Apparently the place to look is Chad - but how would you get there?
