This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

I was commenting on the fact that the vast majority of pictures online come from this blog - not "concerned residents".
I took it as images "specific' to that vicinity, rather than the bigger picture that Rock Piles presents - and has presented for such a long time as the "go to" web site for photos and information.
