I'm so excited to have discovered your blog! I'm the author of 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles: Boston and share all of your enthusiasms. I love encountering old stone walls in the woods and imagining the landscape when they were built. It amazes me to think of the incredible amount of sweat that went into hauling the stones around to clear the fields and keep in the cows.
