This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Goodbye to the hilltop - final vistas
(see previousposts) This is a substantial ceremonial complex. It conforms to the types of site found on other hilltops in Ashland and I am sure other towns in the area.
Amazing site! There's so much there: stone mounds, stone rows - linear and zigzag, just a whole bunch of stuff. I feel like running over there right now!!!
