This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Quartz at the junction of stone walls
I guess this could have been a whimsical gesture or something with a more specific meaning: closer...I saw this out where Rt 2 crosses Rt 495 in an area just north of the well known "BoxboroughEsker".
