This is a great article, thanks for posting this.
It is interesting that if a cairn contained historic period artifacts that this was enough to remove the cairn from the discussion. That method is problematic when it comes to anything the Indians might have done since Columbus got here. Sometimes it seems they might have done quite a lot during that period.
