This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Short Stretches of Stone Wall in Boylston MA
Went to Wachusett Watershed land in Boylston with FFC and it turned out to be one of the few remaining places with deeper snow, last weekend. There were a couple of short walls. This one down a valley:This one is coming off of a ridge making what looks like a funnel:But the view back down it lines up nicely with the rocks beyond:
