This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

In Wachusett's Shadow
A couple of knolls and a foothill away from Mt. Wachusett (which is just a big hill itself), here is what I think is a little prayer seat. Facing, as it turns out, away from the mountain.Note the quartz. Here is the context, a quadrangle enclosed by wall at the top of a slight hill:Last look: That quartz vein is neat.
