This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

The mosquitoes were bad here last night, after dark. Before that, not so much. I picked up 3 ticks in one spot, Johnny Brook, back in March, but since then haven't seen any at all. We did not have many blackflies this year, either, but the noseeums seemed to be out early. It's a weird year. Oh, and the deer flies were really bad yesterday in the sun.
