This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Fair enough. The evidence is piles arranged evenly around a center, like spokes of a wheel. I am not an astronomer but if these are related to time-keeping (a hypothesis) then some form of sundial should be considered.
If these piles were carefully measured and mapped, then we might discover something important.
Talk to Fred Martin. His surveys are careful but, as far as I know, have not resulted in a hypothesis.
