This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

First day out in Falmouth, MA
by pwax Found one pile today: This is north of Brick Kiln Rd - somewhere behind the high school. I doubt I could find the place again.
Just from this picture I find it easy to imagine people walking around this area in the distant past. Take away all the hardwoods, underbrush, and leaf litter, maybe add a few towering conifers, and this is a strikingly attractive place. Nice photo.
