This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. CONTACT: rockpilesmail@gmail.com
The bottom section of this chamber appears to be been created by removing blocks of stone from the bedrock. Would it be possible to get close-up photos of bedrock portion of the walls, in particular the right hand side (when looking into the entrance). I am curious if there any quarrying tool marks. One of the photos hints at possible tool marks but the resolution not sufficient to evaluate properly.
