This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Hemlock covered slope below Rocky Hill
This is a small site with perhaps 8 piles at the end of a ridge, facing north over a lowspot towards Rocky Hill. Just a few rock-on-rocks and a pile that was tipped over. This was suggestive:
