From here we went across the wetland and saw another small knoll looking back west over this wetland. Here there was a mixture of effigy-like piles and low ground piles.
There was actually some wetland to the north and to the east of this knoll but it seemed that the majority of piles were on the western facing part. I hope I don't have to tell you what is suggested by this layout ?
