Here's that nomenclature thing again: "The petroforms in this area are
normally outline in type, but there are a few solid ones which could be construed to
be cairns.One of these has appended “legs” making it a solid-bodied “turtle.”"
Solid petroform, cairn - why not "primative sculpture?"
Especially when there is human enhancement to the stones by chipping or polishing along with the artistic placement...
