This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
Lucky you! You live in such a beautiful and historically rich part of the country, and this time of the year is an especially rewarding time to be out in the woods letting everything sink in --gradually.
