This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

I should have phrased this as a joke. Seeing landscape like an archaeologist in New England means, for the most part, not noticing anything.

Now, let's be fair. They do notice shell heaps and unearthed bones. But that's about it.
