This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

if stones could talk. I have built many cairns and have learned to build them where most people do not go. the latest one is 16ft.tall deep in the woods of a state forest in Mass. Without telling that I had built it I showed someone a picture of it and they were amazed and said it could be hundreds of years old.
