This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Two panoramas
This one is from the MIT Haystack Observatory region. There are between twelve and fifteen piles in the picture.
This one is from the east flank of Oak Hill where three brooks meet. There are four piles visible in the picture on the far side of the stream, and perhaps two partially visible on the near side.
