My Russian cousins are passionate mushroom hunters, yet say that there are no mushrooms 'till later in the summer. Maybe this one is not edible?
Instructions on this species would be welcome.

Thanks. In retrospect I see they are all formatted about the same.
Love it! And as far as I know the only spring mushroom that's edible in our part of the country is the morel, but I may be wrong.
