This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

A crystal turtle
Since I mentioned it earlier, here is what looks like a turtle made from a rock which is a composite of white crystalline feldspar and smoother gray granite. The "head", made from the gray material, seems artificially shaped.Here is another picture.
