This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Minor features from Leominster State Forest
I did go out last Sunday but did not see much. I like the colors in these photos.
Rock-on-rock:Split-wedged rock "Spirit Door": Notice the edge of the upper piece of the split rock, it looks like pieces of the edge were removed. Maybe this rock was split manually without metal tools.
