I see by chance that the NIH, somewhere - probably not here - is reputed to be built on an Indian burial ground. This seems plausible because, on one hand, there are lots of NIH buildings; and, on the other, there are rock pile sites just about everywhere.
Well, chalk this one up as a substantiated myth, in this case.
