This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

What a great find! I am envious.
The topic of what these plummets were for is still an open question. Mavor and Dix thought they might be ceremonial and I did, once, see something similar in a Lincoln enclosure (reported somewhere) far from a fishing place.
