I wish I still was finding stuff like the Brewerton in that post. But it has been a long time since I have made such a find, it has become more difficult over the ears. I don't think it is ever possible to find everything at any site by surface hunting, but hitting the same spots over and over eventually impacts what is there on the surface to be found, I am convinced. And many sites where I used to find artifacts have been destroyed or are now off limits or unsearchable for one reason or another. I still am finding quartz arrowheads and this reminds me I have some decent finds from this winter to post.

That should read "more difficult over the years," of course.

When finding arrowheads got too difficult for me, I learned that locating a rock pile site gives a similar surge or adrenaline.
