Roadside Attraction - RT 495 South

A moment before passing Taunton Street in Wrentham:
Several people familiar with the George Street sites told me to look north of the road, on the little hill.

Peter -
Was this rock pile on the south side or the north side of 495? And how long is a "moment"? I have a site in my inventory about 2/10 of a mile west of Taunton St. in my inventory, though it's on the south side of George St. There's a whole cluster of sites on the north side of the highway, about 3/10 to 1/2 mile west of Taunton St. Be careful about going in there, and be sure to wear bright colored clothing, because the State Forest is open to hunters. I passed a guy with an air rifle the time I visited there! The trails are also not very well maintained.

I am kicking myself for (seemingly) having explored just about everywhere in Wrentham that DID NOT have rock piles. Thanks for the tips.

South of 495 and north of George str. There is a little hill cut by the highway with a few piles.

There are also quite a number of stone structure sites in the northern part of the state forest. Same precautions apply!
