This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

This link includes a newspaper article about what sounds very similar to Hopping Brook. Too bad we have archaeologists who (with a few exceptions) are hostile to these concepts applying in New England.
The Dacula site is now a park with hiking trails, restrooms, etc. Great site to visit if you ever get the chance. I review this site in a couple of Powerpoint presentations I've given. I believe the topography of the area is the key to why this site is where it is.
