The description of the location is a bit confusing. On the USGS map, Richardson Brook joins Moody Brook, which then flows into the Farmington River on the Tolland/Sandisfield line. Richardson Brook's headwaters are at a pond just to the south of Route 57. Is the site just north of that pond?

The site is just north of that pond at the headwaters of Richardson Brook. It is on the North side of New Boston Road (route 57) and west of this location approximately 1/4 mile or so. The site is behind stonewalls and there are numerous rock piles.
