Very interesting article. It appears there were mining and metal working operations going on in North America many centuries before Columbus. It does not surprise me but it is disconcerting to the conventional wisdom of academia. IMO they were Europeans here for the metals and minerals, just as they were in Cornwall, England for the tin mines, and probably S. America for gold and silver. dc.
