Stone lined springs, short stretches of wall, etc...
A couple of stray photos from a bit of woods in Lincoln, where there were certainly plenty of signs of farming activity and a few signs of something less certain:

Some similar items from Pepperell (although the short stretch of wall here seems much older than the one from Lincoln, while this spring was obviously modern):
There was a smattering of rock piles at both places. Eg in Lincoln:

The last photo is certainly the exception to the farming business- the stone pile and the "Indian Look" of the stone row. To me, anyway...
